Scott Free Racing Victorious 4th of July Weekend

Every 4th of July weekend, race boats from all over the country tavel to Sarasota,FL to compete in the Sarasota Power Boat Grand Prix. 2017 was no exception with a great turn out of boats and race fans. Friday night kicked off the block party on Main St with over 50,000 people walking around interacting with teams and seeing the boats up close. Scott Free Racing spent Saturday getting ready to compete on the 3.9 mile course which resulted in some setup changes to adjust to the smaller course. On Sunday the team was prepared and battled for the lead the entire race and able to bring home the checkered flag for the hometown crowd. " We hit the setup just right for this type of course", said Stephen Kildahl. "Its great to win in our hometown in front of all our friends and family".
