Scott Free Racing Takes Home 2nd Place in Hometown Waters

Scott Free Racing finished up the 30th Annual Suncoast Super Boat Grand Prix with a 2nd place finish in front of hometown fans. " It was a great battle with the Sun Print team for the lead," said Stephen Kildahl. Both teams exchanged the lead throughout the race, while putting on a great show for the fans. The conditions were a little more choppier than everyone expected with a storm brewing in the Gulf of Mexico, but SFR had the right set up for the conditions.

Sarasota is one of the favorite stops on the circuit for the SFR team. The parade alone draws over 50,000 people and the beaches are always packed on race day. The main importance of this event is to raise money for Suncoast Charities for Children and SFR enjoys being able to do what we love while also helping children in need.

SFR's next race will be in Clearwater, FL for the National Championships September 26-28. We hope to see you there!
