Scott Free Racing Kicks Off 2016 Season in Cocoa Beach, FL
May 29, 2016Scott Free Racing was excited to kick off the 2016 season in Cocoa Beach, FL which is usually known for its rough water conditions. This year mother nature through all the teams a curve ball and sea condition were flat and made for some fast racing. "Our team had to make some set up changes to the boat for the flat conditions", said Stephen Kildahl. " We tested in the off season for rough water but we will put our calm water set up on and give it all we got". Scott Free Racing was running 4th for 7 of the 9 lap race until the team experience mechanical problems and were forced to retire from the race. Scott Free Racing's next race will be in Lake of the Ozarks, MO where the team captured the win last year and hope for another great running this year.
